Affiliates and advertising
Affiliate disclosure
How affiliate links and advertising work on staydiary.
Affiliate links
The "check price" buttons in each note lead to hotel sellers. When a booking is made through an official affiliate link, staydiary may receive a commission from the seller. The commission is paid by the seller, and no extra cost is charged to the buyer.
Affiliate relationships do not influence the content of a note or the choice of hotels. Hotels are paired where the differences in travel route and terms of stay are clear, and hotels with higher affiliate commissions are not given priority.
About listed prices
For each listed price, the note records when it was checked and under what conditions (stay dates, guests, and whether breakfast is included). Where a price could not be checked, the comparison table and the sources section both mark it as an example. The actual payment amount is whatever the booking page shows.
Advertising
staydiary uses Google AdSense ad code. When ads are shown, they keep an "advertisement" label and are visually separated from editorial content. For information about advertising cookies, see the advertising section of theprivacy policy.
